Greetings!  My educational and professional journey began at the age of six.  Miss Lemons, my first grade teacher, was a marvelous, caring educator who ensured that each student had just what they needed to begin their educational journey successfully.  So, from that point forward teaching became and continues to be my passion. Indeed, my first professional job was that of a public elementary school teacher.  From there I inspired to make a difference in the lives of an entire school thus becoming a Middle School Administrator.  Northern Arizona University then offered me the opportunity to manage their statewide academic office in Central Phoenix where we coordinated courses for masters and doctoral degrees in education, mostly for teachers and administrators.  Staying true to my passion for education and leadership, I then transitioned into the business community as a Corporate Trainer and Performance Consultant for a nation-wide organization.  This organization also gave me the opportunity to experience leading a region of service teams as the Director of Operations for the Western U.S.

Throughout my educational and professional journey I’ve strived to live my personal mission, which is to ‘make life better.’  Joining Recovery Innovations (then known as META Services) in 2004 has given me the opportunity to blend my passion for education and my leadership experience as well as contribute my personal mission.  Recovery Innovations is a magical place. Recovery Innovations is a place where people are committed to creating opportunities to ‘making life better’ for everyone through our recovery principles and innovative services.  I’m humbled to serve among a team of extraordinary individuals who have taught and continue to teach me about the behavioral health community.  Currently, I’m fortunate to be contributing in the Recovery Education Center which focuses on providing concepts, skills and knowledge to students about recovery and wellness.
