Organization

The Recovery Innovations leadership has developed this graphic representation of the organization. It shows our programs at the center. "Floating" in the organizational space are team resources that are combined flexibly to maximize "organizational recovery".

Recovery Innovations strives to model recovery as an organization. This intention of “organizational recovery” is demonstrated by the following principles and practices:

  • A non-hierarchical style throughout the organization that honors mutuality in all relationships; such as between departments, programs, all employees, as well as with external customers.
  • Empowerment of staff at all levels.
  • Cultural competence with respect for the dignity and rights of all.
  • Integration of individuals in recovery (Peer Support Specialists) within all aspects of the organization; planning, service delivery, and evaluation / monitoring.
